The Creation and Growth of FINBOURNE
FINBOURNE was founded in 2016 with a clear mission: to bring efficiency and transparency to firms operating in capital markets. Our journey began when a group of us, with extensive experience in financial services and technology, recognised a significant structural problem—inefficiency in how firms manage their data. This inefficiency made even fundamental tasks, such as understanding assets and cash positions, unnecessarily complex. We believed that technology could solve these challenges, and so FINBOURNE was founded.
From the outset, we focused on building a scalable platform capable of handling the vast scale and complexity of financial data. By combining deep industry knowledge with cutting-edge technology, we created a platform designed to make financial data more accessible, actionable, and cost-effective for our clients.

Where We Are Today
Today, FINBOURNE is transforming how some of the world’s largest financial organisations manage their data. Our platform enables firms such as Fidelity International, Northern Trust and HSBC to operate more efficiently, make better decisions, and reduce operational costs. We have successfully expanded our commercial footprint and are broadening our customer base globally in North America, APAC and Australia.
Our Series B funding round in June 2024 was a significant milestone, marking one of the largest in the UK. This funding validated our vision and execution, enabling us to scale even further. Now, we are focused on continuing to push boundaries, innovate, and support financial firms in navigating an increasingly complex landscape.
