CU Soar

Glasgow
Seeking investment

CU Soar designs, develops and supports software for credit unions and other ethical banking organisations.

The current market offering is a mobile application and back end content management system that helps credit unions to engage better with their members and allows their members to interact with the credit union wherever and whenever they want to. The application is integrated with any of the common legacy back end banking systems that credit unions use.

We are planning extending the functionality to reach further back in to the banking systems to enhance the functionality and added value that CU Soar brings to our clients.

CU Soar is a spin out from the November Twenty One Group which includes SwarmOnline, an enterprise mobile and web application software development company based in Glasgow and Edinburgh.

Swarm had been asked to build an app for a couple of credit unions and researched the market as part of delivering the best possible solution. It became apparent that there are many credit unions across the UK that are underserved by current suppliers in relation to mobile apps that help them engage with their members and deliver the best service they can. So, it was decided to design and build a mobile application and content management system to meet that market failure.

The app is now live in the market with a number of credit unions and a potential user base of well over 20,000. CU Soar Ltd was created to commercialise and further develop the platform.

The planned management team behind CU Soar has a wealth of tech start-up and credit union sector experience that will ensure the success of the company. The management team is shown below.
